Roasters

Fresh Coffee Network develops direct relationships with local roasters who encompass a shared vision that requires coffee to be labeled and ‘Roast Dated’. This date is critical to ensure freshness to the buyer/consumer. All roasters must also agree to strict guidelines concerning the sourcing, roasting, packaging and labeling of Certified Fresh Roasted Coffees. All coffees must be certified organic & fair trade at a minimum.

Who are the Local Roasters?

In order to be a Local Roaster for the Fresh Coffee Network, a roaster must:

  1. Love Coffee
  2. Be dedicated to the craft of roasting
  3. Join the network and agree to the transparent conditions related to the supply of fresh coffee

We are only just beginning and in many regions a Fresh Coffee Network roaster has not yet been established. If you are a roaster and would like information on becoming a network roaster or if you are coffee lover that knows a great local roaster. Click here and send us an e-mail.

What if an FCN Local Roaster Does Not Exist?

If you are not serviced by local roasters there are three options:

  1. Place your order and choose a shipping option.
  2. Seek out a local roaster and ask about their policies.
  3. Roast your own coffee. For information on roasting please visit Merchants of Green Coffee.
